Public transport in Dalarna is organized by the Public Transport Administration, which is part of Region Dalarna, and is developed in collaboration with the county's municipalities. The county's publicly funded public transport operates under the brand Dalatrafik and includes general public transport and special passenger transport.

The Public Transport Administration is facing an exciting period with ongoing procurement of traffic agreements that will then be established, along with related work to improve processes and working methods in collaboration with our suppliers.

The Public Transport Administration has also recently entered a new organization that aims to create increased value for travelers through clearer business focus, improved collaboration both internally and externally, and process orientation of the operations.

The Public Transport Administration is now seeking a business developer to help create more satisfied travelers and efficiency in operations through the development of processes, methods, and forms of collaboration.

As a business developer, you will primarily work on analyzing current processes, reviewing and evaluating existing working methods to identify areas for improvement, as well as developing and establishing improved processes.

You will both participate in and lead projects aimed at improving operations and supporting the administration through change processes, ensuring that new methods and tools are introduced and used effectively. You will participate in the monitoring and management of agreements as well as the procurement and establishment of agreements.

You will follow developments in the industry and participate in national networks. Close collaboration with all parts of the Public Transport Administration is necessary.

Required Education

• University degree in a relevant field or other equivalent education and experience

Required Experience

• Experience working systematically with investigations and analyses as well as quality or improvement work
• Experience and ability to lead and drive business development related to structures, processes, and methods in good collaboration
• Very good knowledge of the Swedish language and good ability to communicate both orally and in writing

Meritorious

• Experience in the transport industry, change management, digitalization, efficiency improvement, or process development
• Education in process and method development or change management
• Experience from public operations and a politically governed operation either as a client or provider
• Experience in monitoring, managing, and improving agreements with suppliers

Personal Characteristics

You take initiative and are largely self-driven, with the ability to drive work forward and suggest improvements where you see the need, and you find it easy to prioritize and plan in your assignment. You have an interest in creating value for our customers. The role involves many contact points, which requires good communication skills, and you actively contribute to a good collaborative climate.
